Why we collect information about you?

We want to offer you the best service, which you want to use easily. We may use information about you to help us customise our Website, to remember you and to improve its usefulness to you as a returning customer. We may use this information to notify you about changes to the Website or products, services or promotions.

What information do we collect from you?

What information we collect when you register and why?

When you set up a One Little Company Account to buy goods before ordering from us you enter into a contract, so we can set this up we will ask you to provide some personal information such as;

  • full name
  • address (and previous addresses)
  • date of birth
  • contact numbers, and
  • email address.

As an existing customer if you have shopped with us using a credit or debit card, or we have taken these details for a payment authorisation, we will securely collect and store this payment card information. New customers and existing customers whose payment cards have expired will be asked if they would like to automatically store these details in order to speed up the payment process.

How do we use your information?

Data Protection says that we are allowed to use and share your personal data only where we have a proper reason to do so. The law says we must have one or more of these reasons and these are:

With your consent we store payment card details.  We will undertake website personalisation and administration, notifying you about enhancements to our services, such as changes to the website and new services that may be of interest to you.  We will use your personal data to undertake customer satisfaction surveys and invite you to provide product reviews for for market research.  We will send you Marketing communications to inform you of special offers, promotions, new lines and Sales. Provide you with online advertising to legitimately help us to develop products, services, applications and designs that attract and retain customers.  Improving customer interaction with our site.  Defining types of customers for new products or services.

One Little Company works with several trusted partners who supply products and services on our behalf. All partners are subject to thorough security checks and will only hold the minimum amount of personal information needed to fulfil the orders you place or provide a service on our behalf.

Delivery Partners
In order for you to receive your goods, One Little Company works with a few delivery partners. Again, we only pass limited information to them to ensure delivery of your items.

IT Companies
One Little Company works with business who support our website and other business systems.

Marketing Companies
We work with marketing companies who help us manage our electronic communications with you or carry out surveys and product reviews on our behalf.

Payment processing
One Little Company works with trusted third-party payment processing providers in order to securely take and manage payments.

Transfers to third countries

If you place an order with us and you are outside of the UK we will transfer the data that we hold on you to One Little Company Limited in the UK.

Disclosing your information and consent or sharing your data with third parties.

We will not make use of your personal information for direct marketing companies. By direct marketing activities, we mean the communication directly to particular individuals (by e-mail, post or telephone) of any advertising or marketing material. Your data is strictly never shared with any other companies.

  • We compile anonymous records of user trends, which we may make, use of ourselves.

How long we keep your information
