The Marine Conservation Society (MCS) works to protect the UK’s seas, shores and wildlife.

In it, on it, under it or by it – however you love the sea, by supporting MCS you can be part of the movement to save our seas. Together we can reduce marine litter, protect wildlife and habitats and encourage more people to only eat sustainable seafood – all actions that will help preserve our seas for generations to come.

Your chosen donation will go to the Marine Conservation Society, a UK charity working for seas full of life

Here at Rainbows, we provide specialist complex, palliative and end of life care. This includes specialist nursing, palliative medicine and therapies, including complementary therapy, music therapy, physiotherapy, play therapy and hydrotherapy.

We provide a place for children to play, laugh and receive the best care possible. Along the way we support mums, dads, siblings and grandparents – because life-limiting illnesses affect the whole family. We step in when families need us most - and we stay with them for as long as they need us.

We support children and young people with complex and life-limiting conditions many of whom are technology dependent, including those who require long-term ventilation. Several of these children and young people receive life-sustaining ventilation. We work in partnership with local hospitals and community children's nursing teams to support children and young people with increasingly complex needs that often cannot be met elsewhere. We are developing our outreach services to include care and support in the home at the end of life, increasing our reach into the community. We are also developing the support we offer to neonates and their families and are liaising with local Children's Community Nursing Services to increase partnership working in the community. We also support a number of children and young people with oncology conditions.
